Control
Users should have more control over the tools they use every day, including layouts, lighting, profiles, macros, and device behavior.
An Orion Forge Initiative
Purpose
Orion Forge Inputs exists to explore the future of human-computer interaction through custom hardware, firmware research, adaptive interfaces, and intelligent input systems.
Users should have more control over the tools they use every day, including layouts, lighting, profiles, macros, and device behavior.
Input devices should be able to adapt to the user instead of forcing the user to adapt to fixed factory software.
The project starts with careful research into HID communication, firmware behavior, RGB protocols, and custom interface design.
The long-term vision for Orion Forge Inputs is to build input systems that feel personal, intelligent, repairable, and expandable. This begins with keyboard research and RGB control, but the direction extends toward fully adaptive input hardware.
